  Discover how employee ownership can be a transformative business exit strategy for your clients. Advisors’ Edge: Unlocking Employee Ownership for Your Clients is a free training program brought to you by the North Carolina Employee Ownership Center (NCEOC), in collaboration with Project Equity. This course equips trusted advisors with the tools and insights needed to guide their clients through a transition to employee ownership.

  Attendees will earn CE credit (1 hour for NASBA and CFP, 1 hour for EPI-CEPA and BEI), enhancing their professional expertise while learning about:

  • The fundamentals of employee ownership structures, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), Worker Cooperatives, and Employee Owned Trusts (EOTs)
  • The financial and tax benefits of employee ownership.
  • Which model works for a particular business size and for the business owner's goals (as few as 4 employees!)

  Did you know that employees do not contribute out of pocket and transactions are completed through loans and at market rates after an independent valuation? An owner can choose a partial sale or a full sale and may choose to exit or remain in the business after the sale.
