This session aims to equip practitioners with the knowledge, skills and tools to positively engage with IRS Revenue Officers. By understanding not only the Revenue Officer’s prime objective and challenges, but YOUR ability to influence the Revenue Officer’s perception of the case – you can effectively steer the outcome of the case and make them look forward to working with you!
After participating in this session, practitioners should be able to:
- Lead the Revenue Officer to YOUR desired case outcome
- Clearly devise and articulate the plan of action for the case (with the client and RO) Develop and employ effective strategies to gain the trust, respect and support of the RO
- Leverage tools to assist with analysis and case summary
