Julie McNeill, President, welcomed all and called the meeting to order. The minutes from the June meeting had been emailed to members and a motion was made to accept them as presented. The motion was seconded and carried. No treasurer’s report was available, but it will be presented at the next regular meeting in August.
Ron Powell asked members to rank their choices for the date and location for the December Christmas meeting. Ron will return to us at the August meeting with more information.
Members were reminded of the Leadership conference to be held on Friday, 26 Jul 2019, at Pinewood Country Club in Asheboro. A board meeting will be held that afternoon and all are welcome to attend.

He reviewed the proposed form 1040SR, the new W-4 and revisions to the 1040. Several members gave reviews of the recently held IRS national practitioners forum, Verifyle (a secure file exchange service) and GetNetSet. (a website builder specifically for accountants)
